Kathryn is a wife, mother, and registered nurse. She has over 20 years of experience in the medical field, obtaining her Illinois Nursing License in 2009. She has experience in geriatrics, internal medicine, and acute care, including over 10 years of critical care bedside nursing. She always strives to be the kind of nurse that takes the time to really listen, care, and serve as a helping hand. Kathryn has been a resident of DeKalb County since 2010. Her journey to the discovery of cellular health and vitality began with the use of therapeutic grade essential oils in 2014 after giving birth to her first child. She has a passion for the science of cellular-based health support and is excited to share its many benefits with her community. Kathryn is certified as a dōTERRA Essential Oil Specialist.

Taylor is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 6 years of experience as a registered nurse in the ICU and the ER. She has worked in healthcare since 2012 with passion, patience, and commitment to those she serves. After seeing a strong need for health education and disease prevention for patients in the hospital setting, Taylor was drawn to go back to school to get certified as a nurse practitioner in family practice. Becoming a mother changed the way she viewed nutrition, overall health, and everyday products, which developed into her mission of supporting cellular health and whole body wellness. Taylor has a strong desire to support, educate, and empower her hometown community on the benefits of cellular-based health.

Shelby is a wife, mother of four children and local to Sycamore. She is passionate about homeschooling her children and serving at her family’s local church. With a background in customer service and hospitality, Shelby’s favorite aspect of her role is building relationships with each patient and providing the best experience possible for all Empower’s clients. Since being introduced to the benefits of cellular-based health and wellness, Shelby believes that taking care of our bodies one cell at a time is truly the best way to achieve long lasting vitality. 

Megan is a registered nurse with over 11 years in the medical field graduating with her nursing degree from Northern Illinois University in 2017. She has spent the last 6 years caring for patients at the bedside in the Critical Care Unit. She is passionate about education and looks forward to graduating soon to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. Megan is passionate about serving the community that she lives in and is excited to serve Sycamore with everything wellness related! Working in the Critical Care Unit has shown Megan that so much more needs to be done to prevent hospitalizations and encourage healthy living and that is exactly what she plans to do at Empower Wellness!
